Hydraulic, transmission and lubrication oil, when in use accumulates contaminates due to working and equipment design. Our oil cleaning equipment removes each of the main contaminates, which are particulates, moisture and air, making the oil better than new. The equipment can be configured to be permanently fitted to the running system or used as an off-line cleaning rig. Our equipment achieves;
This equipment keeps the oil in optimum condition thereby saving you the need for the oils recommended change/replacement period as it has not deteriorated or the additives been used and depleted. Energy is not wasted in developing power being absorbed by moisture and air. System filter life is extended as particulate levels are reduced by prevention of oxidative oil degradation, impaired heat transfer, retarded oil supply and cavitation.
In use our oil cleaning equipment has shown an energy saving of 30%, along with increased system performance and ability. We are currently working with a number of large multinational companies who are evaluating our equipment because they are looking at the resulting savings. One company in the waste industry is currently conducting trials because they have calculated savings on oil replacement of £800 per vehicle per year (1100 vehicles currently on the road) and a fuel saving on their £10 million per year fuel bill along with other savings such as greater reliability, reduced maintenance and repair cost’s etc.
A heavy plant manufacturing company has conducted research into its companies warranty costs and have concluded that if the oil first put into their hydraulics was particulate free and kept clean during initial running then they could reduce warranty costs by about 50%. Their research has also shown that clean contaminate free oil in their vehicles hydraulics would reduce the cost of ownership to their customers by at least 25%.We are currently in discussion with them on a number of products
Cleanse-oil had long ago appreciated the benefits of “Off-line oil filtration”, which was endorsed and actively sold by all hydraulic filter manufacturers and other specialized filtration product manufacturers. However all the products that were available on the market had limited abilities and for anything other than small hydraulic systems were very expensive to maintain.
Reviewing the problems, limitations and expense factors Cleanse-oil designed and built a vacuum dehydration machine that performed similar to other manufactures but had a number of specialized design features which meant that the equipment was some 40% cheaper to run, removed particulates on every pass of oil through the machine, removed the moisture all the time the equipment was running and at the same time removed the air in the hydraulic oil. The machine has seen to offer the user of our equipment some or all of the following:-
Our equipment design is of a modular concept and can be configured as a unit for cleaning oil in IBC’s or storage tanks, running systems and even for such systems like those on a waste vehicle where there’s no power available.
Above shows pictures taken with the machine in situ at the Bristol City Council hydraulic lock facility and shows a sample of oil taken from the reservoir before the use of the Cleanse-oil machine and the condition of the oil in the reservoir after cleaning.
